Upon This Rock, I Will Build My Church; Christ!

Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

Matthew 16:18 and 26

When Jesus told the apostles saying Peter unto this Rock I will build my Church, He never meant Simon Peter but the name Christ which comes from the Greek word Christos, meaning anointed one. The word is derived from the Greek Chrio, meaning to anoint. In the Greek Septuagint, Christos was used to translate the Hebrew Messiah meaning one who is anointed.

Moses wrote saying He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He. Psalms 95:1 says Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.

And through this Rock, Christ the gates of Hades shall not prevail against you the Church through your death with Jesus Christ on that cross of Calvary. In Romans 6:9 Apostle Paul wrote saying, we know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. Romans 8:34 Christ Jesus who died more than that, who was raised to life is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Simon Peter answering said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.

Hello, folks are the ones wondering about saving your life because of the situations you are going through, the answer is you don’t have to struggle alone, for as a child with a father whatever the child asks his father believing and in truth he will always get the best prepared by the father to his child. Remember this for our father has never lacked, he always provides for his children both spiritually and physically that’s the God we serve, the rock of our salvation.

Today’s Prayer:

God thank you for giving me the keys of the kingdom of heaven through salvation and I fully believe in you as my Lord and Savior, and by this power in you that whatever I bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever I loose on earth will be loosed in heaven, by accepting I let you take over my life and every decision I make day by day because in your will there’s perfection, justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright are your ways for me now and forever. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
