Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests but also for the interests of others.
Philippians 2:3-4
Introduction:
Philippians 2:3-4 guides us to practice humility and servanthood, reflecting the heart of Christ. We willl explore the transformative power of humble service, emphasizing the importance of considering others’ needs above our own.
Embracing Lowliness of Mind:
In the reborn life, humility is key. Embracing a lowliness of mind allows us to serve others with genuine love and compassion. When we humble ourselves, we create an atmosphere where kindness and understanding can flourish, fostering unity and harmony.
Esteeming Others Better Than Ourselves:
Esteeming others better than ourselves is a powerful act of humility. In the reborn life, we learn to appreciate the value of every individual, treating them with respect and dignity. By considering others’ needs and interests, we create a community of love and mutual support.
Looking Out for Others’ Interests:
Servanthood involves looking out for the interests of others. In the reborn life, we actively seek ways to support and uplift those around us. By selflessly serving others, we demonstrate Christ’s love and reflect the transformative impact of servanthood.
Today’s Blessings:
Lord Jesus, I come before You with a heart of humility. Teach me to esteem others better than myself, looking out for their interests and serving them with love. May my life reflect the transformative power of selfless service, demonstrating Your love to the world. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Thank You, Holy Spirit.
