Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
Psalms 27:14
Alot was happening to King David when he wrote and said when my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me and teach me His way, O LORD, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence. I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.
Dear my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus the LORD is our light and our Salvation; Whom shall we fear? The LORD is the strength of our life; Of whom shall we be afraid?
When the wicked come against you to eat up your vision, dreams, and flesh, these enemies and foes, before the LORD you trust shall stumble and fall. Though the army from the valley of the dead, evil spirits when they encamp against you, your heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against you, In all this you aught to be confident.
Because one thing you have desired of the LORD, and that is seeking Him more and more: That you may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of your life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.
Remember this when you are in the LORD for in the time of trouble He always hides His beloved in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He hides; setting you high upon a rock a place where no enemy, no evil, no worries, no fear love’s to be, a place of His sovereignty and peace forever and that is in Jesus Christ.
Today’s Prayer:
Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me, when I seek your face, in my heart will I seek your face, LORD, and do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation. I am on my hands and knees Lord, rejoicing in Your love for me. I shall do all that I can to build my relationship with You. Assist me in my plight, for I am a mortal and know nothing compared to You. I submit totally to Your wisdom. O God, and know nothing but Your love. Amen.
