Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The moment you received Christ Jesus you received the light and this light of truth and life, the perfect way that every man needs.
Sometimes you don’t see this light cause you have given a place for the devil to trouble you. Ephesians 4:27 the bible says “neither gives place to the devil.” And Jesus tells you “Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God” John 14:1
God’s church has never been perfect, but it is so important that it strives for the best it can do! Each individual in the church must recognize that the world is watching them as a representative of the church, and so we must all do our best to be a light unto the world. We will stumble, but we have God on our side, and if we follow His ways, that light will shine through like the sun’s rays of light all through your darkest fear.
Today’s Prayer:
Heavenly Father I thank you for the light of your love in me, unconditional and forever flowing all over me to show those around me that you are the way, truth, and life. May I know Your truth and believe it with my whole heart. Help me to be the light to those around me and may I be the light this world needs for your sake to change the heart’s from all distresses, Amen.
