Believing in the Unseen

Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha

Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha

While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:18

Introduction:
Building upon the essence of faith, we explore the concept of believing in the unseen, as illuminated by 2 Corinthians 4:18. Our faith challenges us to look beyond the temporary, physical world and focus on the eternal promises of God.

The Transient Nature of the Seen:
The things we see around us are temporary and ever-changing. Material possessions, circumstances, and even our own bodies are fleeting. Faith redirects our gaze from these temporal aspects to the enduring truths of God’s kingdom.

Embracing the Eternal Perspective:
Faith encourages us to adopt an eternal perspective, acknowledging that God’s promises, though unseen, are steadfast and enduring. Through faith, we perceive the eternal nature of God’s love, grace, and faithfulness.

Faith as the Lens of Hope:
In a world filled with uncertainties, faith acts as the lens through which we see hope beyond despair, victory beyond challenges, and joy beyond sorrows. It enables us to trust in God’s unseen hand guiding our lives.

Walking in Confidence:
Believing in the unseen empowers us to walk with confidence, knowing that our faith is rooted in the eternal God. It strengthens our resolve to trust in His promises, even when circumstances seem contrary.

Today’s Blessings:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the divine perspective that faith provides, allowing us to see beyond the transient and into the eternal. As we explore the concept of believing in the unseen, grant us unwavering faith to trust in Your promises. May our lives reflect the confidence that comes from knowing You, the eternal God. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
