Trusting the Invisible God
Billy Graham once said: “Faith is the avenue of salvation. Faith is the key that unlocks heaven’s door.” During his crusades across North America and the world, thousands came to Christ not because they saw miracles in the sky, but because they believed the simple gospel by faith. His life was a testimony that faith in the unseen God changes everything.
The book of Hebrews defines this faith clearly:
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)
Reflection:
Faith is not wishful thinking, it’s confident trust in a faithful God. We may not see Him, but we know He is real. We may not see tomorrow, but we trust that He holds it.
Billy Graham’s ministry reminds us that faith is not about how much we understand, but about how much we trust. When we diligently seek Him, God not only receives us but rewards us with His presence, peace, and promises.
Prayer:
Father, strengthen my faith to trust You even when I cannot see. Help me to diligently seek You each day and to live in a way that pleases You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Challenge:
- Believe: Write down one area of your life where you need to trust God more.
- Seek: Spend time in prayer today, asking God to deepen your faith.
- Encourage: Share Hebrews 11:6 with someone struggling to believe.
