Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
John 14:1-3
Thomas said to Christ, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way? This he asked at the ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ after He had conquered and defeated death, the last enemy to be thrown to the lake of fire.
I believe as to our brother Thomas many of you a searching for reasons burning inside you with WHY? WHAT? WHERE? HOW? WHO? and so on, only to find out the answer of what you are looking for. I will tell you the answer and that’s Christ!
Jesus answered to Thomas and us saying, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Not only did He end up at answering, He gave us a promise, a ticket, a will that whatever we ask in His name, that He will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If we ask anything in His name, He will do it.
Child of God whatever the reasons, God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, and by faith in Him will let you dwell in safety, In a land of grain and new wine.
For Christ has put all things under His feet, all you got is to ask. But when He says all things are put under Him, Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord because there’s a place for you prepared by Christ through the victory that was gained by His suffering, carrying all our burdens on that cross that we may have life eternal.
Today’s Prayer
Dear God of my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will I not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. Because I got all I need by your will and victory, overcoming every enemy in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen
