Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha

Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha

Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Matthew 24:11-14

Facing Deception and Lawlessness:
In this passage, Jesus warns of the rise of false prophets and the increase in lawlessness. The world can be a confusing and deceitful place, and believers are not immune to the challenges posed by falsehood and moral decay. In the face of deception, it becomes essential to hold onto the truth of God’s Word and remain steadfast in faith.

The Danger of Waning Love:
Jesus foretells that due to the prevalence of lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold. The love He speaks of is not just any love but the agape love, the selfless, unconditional love that God bestows upon us. In the midst of trials and increasing lawlessness, it is easy for our love for God and for others to diminish. Yet, it is precisely in these challenging times that we are called to let God’s love shine through us, demonstrating compassion, kindness, and forgiveness.

Endurance and the Spread of the Gospel:
Amidst the trials and tribulations, Jesus emphasizes the importance of endurance. Those who endure to the end will be saved. This endurance is not based on our own strength but on God’s grace and the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit within us. Furthermore, the gospel of the kingdom will be preached worldwide as a witness to all nations. This signifies God’s unfailing plan to reach every corner of the earth with the message of salvation, offering hope and redemption to all.

Let Us Affirm this Word In Prayer:
Heavenly Father, in a world filled with deception and lawlessness, we turn to You for strength and guidance. Help us to discern the truth and stand firm in our faith. Guard our hearts against the waning of love, enabling us to love others with the same selfless love You have shown us. Grant us endurance in the face of trials, knowing that our ultimate salvation is secure in You. May we actively participate in spreading the gospel, sharing the message of hope and redemption with a world in need. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
