The LORD shall preserve you from all evil

Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha

Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha

The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Psalms 121:7-8

Our Lord Jesus Christ prayed to God the Father along taking up that cross as we hear and behold in (John 17:12-15) While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.

By the above prayer we ought to lift up our eyes to the hills or above from where our help comes? and that’s from God. Our help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you does not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel, you and all the nation’s neither slumbers nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade at your right hand nomatter any situations along your way both good and bad He remains as Lord of your life, goals and plans that works out for your good.

As in (Romans 8:28) says “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Today’s Prayer

The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.

Lord God, my guide and protector, I pray you be with me always as I face unknown trails and tribulations. Help me endure these storms, so that I may be strengthened in my faith in you. For I know you are my shepherd Lord, and in the sweet embrace of the afterlife you will guard me from all evil and harm, returning only love and peace. Amen.
