A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips, he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
Proverbs 18:20-21
It takes the power of the tongue to receive, bless and build the strength or curse. There are two ways of the power of the tongue one being to bless and to curse or use the power of the tongue to give life or death.
That’s why we see at the beginning God spoke and it was and the compliment at the end was good. However in the new testament to receive the faith takes the power of the tongue as we see in Romans 10:17 – So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Point to note take serious care about the words you exchange with those you meet, starting point being family otherwise learn to have blessings rather than curses. We see in Genesis 12:3 God promising Abraham and says I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed.
There are people that God has anointed to take you through and after receiving your breakthrough be wise about what you say cause you may be calling upon you the curse’s rather than the blessings and that’s why God humbles the proud doer’s who may have grown wings beyond their boundaries. We see this in Psalms 75:6-7 saying for promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south but God is the judge: he puts down one and sets up another.
There are many tests and temptations in our lives. Yet, through all you don’t have to give up, Our Father Abraham never gave up through all the ups and downs till all was fulfilled. Dedicate your family, children, brothers, and sisters every moment you wake up in the morning, giving thanks to God at the end of the day in prayer.
Remember But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
Today’s Prayer:
Dear God thank you for blessing and keeping me, am humbled for making your face shine upon me and being gracious unto everything I do for your honor and glory, I receive your promise of lifting up your countenance upon me and giving me the peace of your salvation, Help me let your name be put into my family, children, and friends moving with your blessings generation after generation. Amen.
