Walking with God

Faith That Transforms

In the early 1900s, a young man named George was struggling with the hardships of life. One day, he read about Enoch in Genesis, how he “walked with God.” Inspired, George committed to live each day intentionally, seeking God’s presence. His faith transformed his life and those around him, showing that walking with God is not just an ancient story, but a daily reality.

The Bible says about Enoch:

“And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.”
Genesis 5:24 (NKJV)

Reflection:

Walking with God means more than just believing; it means living in a close relationship with Him, day by day. Enoch’s example reminds us that such intimacy leads to a life so aligned with God that even death could not separate them.

Regardless of your circumstances, God invites you to walk closely with Him. To seek His guidance, listen to His voice, and live in His presence.

Will you take that step today?

Prayer:

Father, help me to walk with You each day. Draw me close, guide my steps, and make my life a reflection of Your love. Teach me to listen and follow faithfully, so that I might know You deeply. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge:

  1. Daily Walk: Commit to spending intentional time with God each day this week, through prayer, reading, or quiet reflection.
  2. Listen: Practice listening for God’s voice during your day and write down what you sense He is saying.
  3. Share: Tell someone about your desire to walk more closely with God and ask for their prayer support.
