But of the fruit of the Spirit

Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha

Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Galatians 5:22-23

What does it mean to truly know God? To truly feel God? The Holy Spirit is the power that binds us all, surrounds us, and serves as a constant reminder that God exists. The ubiquitous presence of the Holy Spirit aids us in our belief: if we believe in it, we will never lose sight of the Lord’s path.

Walk on that path and the bounty is plentiful: love joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, temperance, what more could we want?

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Today’s Prayer

Precious Lord, instill in me the virtues that You find most valuable: help me to feel more love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance, and know that You have no restrictions against any of these. I pray for these virtues in honor of my service to You. Amen.
