The Just Live by Faith

Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha

Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha

Then the Lord answered me and said: ‘Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith.

Habakkuk 2:2-4

Writing the Vision:
Habakkuk is instructed by the Lord to write down the vision and make it clear. This emphasizes the importance of clarity and intentionality in our goals and aspirations. God invites us to articulate our vision in a way that is understandable and motivating for ourselves and others.

Patience in Waiting:
The passage introduces the concept of waiting for the fulfillment of the vision. The timing may seem delayed, but the assurance is that it will surely come. This waiting period is an essential part of the journey, a time to cultivate patience, trust, and reliance on God’s perfect timing.

Living by Faith:
The closing statement, “the just shall live by his faith,” encapsulates a foundational principle. Living by faith involves trusting in God’s promises, even when circumstances seem contrary. It’s an active and enduring reliance on God’s faithfulness, recognizing that His plans unfold in His appointed time.

Today’s Blessings:
Heavenly Father, as I navigate the visions and dreams You have placed in my heart, grant me clarity and perseverance. Help me to patiently wait for Your appointed time, trusting that Your promises will surely come to pass. Strengthen my faith, Lord, that I may live in accordance with Your will, relying on Your timing and not my own. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen
