Christ died for our sins to life

Evang Ps. Kenneth Nandoha

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

God is perfect. He sent Jesus, his son, to earth to purge our sins. He lived, died, and was buried a mortal man, but on the third day, he rose from the dead. The Bible itself tells the story for thousands of years leading up to that exact moment. Believe in him, for without faith it is impossible to please him. Believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up, if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen.

And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Today’s Prayer

He is risen! He is risen indeed! Lift up our hearts to the Lord! Christ the Lord has shown that our hope is not in vain. My faith will be rewarded. I shall go from this place to love you, my Lord Jesus Christ, for all of my days, as well as all other people. Everything else, I will leave to God. Amen.
