For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth. By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise shall be continually of You.
Psalms 71:5-6
You may have become as a wonder to many, but God is always your strong refuge, a white flag of peace and harmony, our rescue from all sorts and kinds of war you may be going through. Let your mouth be filled with His praise and with His glory all the day whatever the catastrophe.
For when we ask God; Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails. For my enemies speak against me; And those who lie in wait for my life take counsel together, Saying, “God has forsaken him; Pursue and take him, for there is none to deliver him.”
The answer is yes, God is always answering and listening to His son’s and daughters, He has never left you and will never. God is never far from you; He is always making haste to help you!
(Psalms 34:1-4) says I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.
When we fix our minds of the goodness of God, it enables us to rise above the afflictions and the troubles we may face. Whenever he was in times of great trouble, Paul resorted to praising God, and in that praise, he found strength. Praise brings about joy, and the joy of the Lord, Jesus Christ, is our strength.
Today’s Prayer
Dear God, there are times where I may feel weak or I feel that I may not be able to carry on. But whenever I choose to dwell on your goodness and who you are, Lord, my heart is glad. I find strength when I think of your faithfulness, Father, and I ask that you will continue to encourage me when times get tough. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
